1880 Sheriff's Residence and Jail.  Cheboygan County used this building for 89 years until it moved to newer facilities in 1969.

Restored interior of the 1912 jail addition.  Restored in 2013 after a paint study was completed to determine the original colors of the jail's cell block.

The west elevation of the 1880s Sheriff's Residence shortly after the addtion of the 1912 jail addition--see on the right-hand side of the photo.  The addition was built at a cost of $10,600.

Spies Heritage Hall was built in 1997 and houses not only exhibits but also the History Center's offices, collection work area and research library.

Native American log cabin built in the late 1800s.  One of three cabins left standing after the "burnout" of the Indian Village on Burt Lake in 1900.
